It is a scientific fact that pigments of eye makeup that women are daily and unintentionally depositing on the skin easily penetrate the dermis. This is one of the main reasons that can cause or enhance dark pigmentation around the eyes.
This problem has become worse with the introduction to the market of makeup containing micronized or nanoparticles, which are added to makeup for flawless and natural look and to cover facial imperfections.
Micronized or nanoparticles particles of makeup, if it is daily rubbed into the skin during eye makeup removal, not only adds to deeper pigmentation, they also could cause particles to penetrate on a cellular level and accumulate in the body causing toxic effects.*
FDA, apparently, has NO authority to recall harmful cosmetics. Therefore, consumers are on their own to protect their skin from these potentially toxic products & to prevent the penetration of nano or micronized size pigments deep into the dermis.*
Mascara, eyeliner & some eyeshadows are not easy to
remove with a first cleansing step. In the first picture, you can see how eye
makeup has spread on the skin during unprotected eye makeup removal. The
resulting more harsh cleansers needed to be used to remove messy dark
residue from the skin around the eyes. Dark residue that contains
micronized / nano particles easily penetrate into the thin skin where it will be
permanently deposited. Rubbing sensitive skin & eyelashes to remove mascara
contributes to other problems such as dryness, wrinkles, bags and loss
These harmful effects can be avoided by using a protective beauty tool
Butterfly Eyelash Guard which absorbs the mascara and eye shadow fallout, thus
preventing them from depositing on the skin below the eyes &
penetrating deeper in to the dermis.
The safe & easy way for women to remove makeup is to use moistened cotton swabs & rub the swabs gently against the shield all
the way through the eyelashes from the eyelash roots line to the ends
of the eyelashes.
Butterfly Eyelash Guard by shielding the
skin helps to prevent eyelashes from falling out & eliminates the
irritation of the eyes and eyelids. Also, it protects the skin from the
pulling and stretching motions associated with unprotected eye makeup
removal that contribute to formation of shadows and bags resulting from
excessively stretched skin.
Specialists can teach consumers
about the care & protection of eyelashes and sensitive skin around the
eyes. This greatly enhances sales not only the beauty tool, but
sales of healthful and effective skin and eyelash care products that are
very beneficial to clients.
The perfect complexion (as on this
picture) is a dream of every woman.
